Sustainability and efficiency: article about us in Wirtschaft Regional

In an interview with a regional business magazine, we share our experiences and progress in the area of energy and material efficiency. In a challenging economic environment, we have succeeded in winning new customers and stabilizing our order situation by strengthening our sales and development teams – a success that has also helped us to maintain our core workforce.

We are consistently focusing on sustainability with comprehensive measures for energy optimization. Numerous projects are currently in the planning or implementation stage, and in the future, we plan to renovate our 50-year-old light domes, an ambitious project that requires a lot of preparation.

We have found the close cooperation with KEFF+ particularly helpful. They have supported us along the way and provided us with valuable contacts in the industry. The exchange has confirmed that we are on the right track and gives us confidence that we will be able to implement future measures sustainably and effectively.

TISAX certification without any deviations

In August 2024, we successfully completed TISAX certification – without any significant deviations. This certification underscores our high standards in the areas of information security and data protection, particularly in the automotive sector.

The positive result confirms our consistent commitment to the protection of sensitive data and compliance with the highest security requirements. We are proud to continue providing a trusted and secure environment for our partners and customers.

Successful environmental certification according to ISO 14001

In December 2023, we successfully passed the environmental certification according to ISO 14001. This important certificate confirms our commitment to a responsible and sustainable use of environmental resources.

With ISO 14001 certification, we meet the highest environmental standards and clearly demonstrate our commitment to active environmental protection in all our business processes.

New photovoltaic system increases our sustainable energy production

In November 2022, we launched our third photovoltaic system with an output of 444 kWp. This increases our total output to an impressive 585 kWp.

By expanding our photovoltaic capacity, we are consistently continuing on our path towards a more sustainable energy supply and actively contributing to the reduction of CO₂ emissions.

January 2022: Commissioning of our new logistics hall

In January 2022, we completed and successfully commissioned our state-of-the-art logistics hall with an area of 4,000 square meters. By using the new hall, we were able to significantly optimize our logistics processes. Thanks to the expanded capacities on site, the use of an external storage facility is no longer necessary.

The improvement in internal logistics also has ecological advantages: by eliminating the need for internal transport, we have been able to significantly reduce our CO₂ emissions and thus make a further contribution to protecting the environment.

Our path continues ...fuel cell technology

Fuel cell technology presents completely new challenges in terms of materials, joining methods, manufacturing processes and technical purity. We are facing up to this new task with our comprehensive project, quality and manufacturing technologies.

New warehouse under construction - completion in 2021

Our warehouse capacities are being expanded. Our original rental warehouse location in Schwäbisch Gmünd will be closed, our own warehouse next to our manufacturing plant is already under construction. Next year, we will benefit from shorter distances and an expanded storage area of over 3,000 sqm.
